Billy Cobb
Sailing Over Cities
I can't feel my fingers, but it's alright
The clock just moves backwards, I think it's nine
Who's to say that time's real
And who's to consider what's wrong and what's right
I feel rather dizzy when I'm trying to sleep
Do people miss me or am I alone?
Well, if we can face the facts, we aren't much together
As we're consciously apart
We'll this could be on The Void
I was told through a voice
And it said: "Don't be scared"
We all have our fears
But if you come prepared
You'll learn to enjoy
The ladies, they dance
And they swirl as the sky opens up
And the colors will swirl
And the man with the staff
Will get up and say
As a flock of flamingos fly into the ring
Sailing over the city is a boat made of wood
And it carries the ones who feel misunderstood
The ashes turn to flowers
And the flowers turn to gold
And our world past the Void, where we'll never grow old
