[Imogen Heap]
"Erm... wondering - does anyone have any questions for me?"
[Audience Member 1]
"When's your next album?"
[Imogen Heap]
"Hmm. Apart from that one. Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. Can everybody hear me? Am I in the house? I feel the need to speak like this in this set, so I'm going to do all my questions speaking like this. No, I'm not going to. Um... no, I wanted to do a quick question and answer, so if you haven't got any good ones now, then I'll come back later when you have. For now, does anyone have a question? Question here?"
[Audience Member 2]
"It would mean a lot to me and Rebecca if you could just play 'Speeding Cars'. I know it's from your new album, but please..."
[Imogen Heap]
"God!"
[Audience Member 2]
"We love that song, it's amazing."
[Imogen Heap]
"You know what? This is meant to be... 'A Concert with iMegaphone'"
[Audience Member 2]
"I know, I know, I know, I know."
[Imogen Heap]
"I know it's a good song..."
[Audience Member 2]
"I know other people would want to hear it as well, wouldn't they?"
[Imogen Heap]
"Well, maybe... but that's not the point, is it? The point is iMegaphone!"
[Audience Member 2]
"Please!"
[Imogen Heap]
"I know that you love it, I know."
[Audience Member 3]
"You tell 'em, Im!"
[Imogen Heap]
"Shush, Maisie. Were you agreeing with them? Oh. Oh, good, good. Okay, so, right, can we have some other questions please? Really personal, like, embarrassing questions, go on."
[Audience Member 4]
"Can I buy the fake dog?"
[Imogen Heap]
"Can you buy it? You might have to ask the hire company... I'm sure you could get him at a good price. He's very nice, isn't he? Like... 1p? Aw, he's worth a bit more than that, isn't he? Poor Rover."
[Audience Member 4]
"He's homeless!"
[Imogen Heap]
"He's - no he's not! He's here with all of us. He's loved. He's loved and adored. He'll go back, he'll be taken care of by trading... trading people. I can't remember what they're called now, but Theme Traders. There we go. Right, let's have one over there."
[Audience Member 5]
"What happened to the guy with the tattoo?"
[Imogen Heap]
"What happened to the guy with the tattoo? Well, we don't want to talk about him, do we? I'm going to do a little dance to distract everyone from that question. No, I think I just got a bit fed up of it, really, you know. Sex is fun."
[Audience Member 5]
"Where is he now?"
[Imogen Heap]
"Where is he now? Where is he indeed? Woo! He's in the speakers... Where is he? Actually, funnily enough, I went to Detroit, I did a gig there and he turned up to one of the gigs and I was like 'Oh, hi, really pleased to see you' we weren't kind of going out at this point, but it wasn't that much after we'd split up, and then he, he, 'cause his thing was that he wasn't going to have sex before he got married. But he said he'd met this really great girl and she was a gym instructor. And I was like 'Oh yeah?' and he said 'Yeah, yeah' and I said 'Are you having sex with her then?' and he said 'Well, yeah'. So we don't talk about him anymore. Okay, one more. Right at the back."
[Audience Member 6]
"Did you play him the songs?"
[Imogen Heap]
"Did I what?"
[Audience Member 6]
"Did you play those songs at the gig just for him?"
[Imogen Heap]
"Yeah, but I didn't tell him they're about him. Yeah. Actually, that's the thing. 'Cause this thing is being recorded so maybe we'll just like go "beep" when it says his name. Okay, well I'll come back to more questions, I'll come back to more... we'll okay, 'cause you look so..."
[Audience Member 7]
"What's your favourite song you've written, and are you in love right now?"
[Imogen Heap]
"Um... I'm in love with lots of people. I'm single so... do your best! I'll be at the bar. My favourite song, my favourite song... actually, I've been writing some new songs, I went on a crazy trip 'cause I'd just got back from touring and, my studio is kind of in-between places at the moment 'cause I've got this great place I've got my new studio in and I'll tell you all about it one day, maybe another question. And, um... I, err... what was I saying? Got distracted by the lovely house. What were you asking? Oh, my favourite song. My favourite song is usually, you know, the latest one I've written, so my favourite song at the moment is a song called 'Little Bird"'. It's very nice. But I can't play it because I can't actually remember it, but I really like it. Anyway, so I'm going to do some more songs now."
[Audience Member 8]
"Can you play 'Kidding'?"
[Imogen Heap]
"Well 'Kidding''s from the era, you see. So I might just do that one..."
