Half a block from my cottage
And I jumped into Lake Ontario and I started swimmin'
I said: "I'm gonna swim to Torano tonight"
And I- I headed out but I couldn't make it
I got to see breeze not too far from Rochester
It was a real nice amusement park
But I couldn't stop there
I had to swim across Lake Ontario, Sodus Point to Torano
And you know, I tried so hard that night
So very hard
