Life Notice
[Intro]
Heather Elisabeth Johnson born October 15th, 1984, passed away on May 26th 2019…
Heather and I followed the exact same path in our schooling
Our mutual favorite teacher was Mrs. [?]
We did chorus together
But she [?] did chorus
But she never took it too seriously
We probably slept together most days on those hour-long bus rides
Sharing one set of headphones while listening to a skipping-Smashing Pumpkins CD on our Discman
We did some foolish things together
And we did some amazing things together, like sneak out [?]
We went to different colleges
When I’d visit her, she’s always a little bit different than the loving-silly friend I always known and needed
When she had her daughter in 2010 I went to her and we cried tears of happiness together
Sadly, the stronghold of this Opioid epidemic stole her from us
She said she was invincible
And I’d say she was

[Verse 1]
Lucy
In my own path
At the top of class
In the highest rank
And smiles on my face

[Chorus]
At the start of life in the shining light
See me
In the dark of night keeping life so bright
See me
Praying for ambulance cars
See me
In your heart, in your mother’s arms
See me
[Outro]
Gloriam mortuis
Gloriam vita
Gloriam mortuis
Gloriam vita
