Chapter 1 - The Good Faith

I live in hell Drowning in the night

I slam the hammer on the steel of the black knights

They will never let me stop, I cannot put up a fight

Thank you to my father this is how I must live and die

And my son and wife starve every day and night

How I wish that I could just send them to the sky

Fucking black knights only wanna take life

Or so I thought til that one day they showed light

Til now I thought they didn't care if I was dead

Gold pouch heavy as my goddamn head

He played for a second then he threw in my chest

"get your son a side dish he could have with that bread"

I cried

Harder than the day my father died

Harder than the time when knights took me outside

Made me sit down face my father with his neck tied

Black hearted Knight kicked chair made my dad fly

Or so it looked that way where I was sitting

Until the very moment when his feet stopped kicking

I couldn't hear a sound just my heart strings splitting

Every day after that it turned to me hitting

On the steel

Black hearted Knight paying for meal

If only I knew it was all the devil's deal

I would've given back that pouch he gave me

But I swear that I can see my sons ribs can you blame me?

My wife losses hope in me im sad

But I heard of a festival in Novigrad

I didn't tell her of the pouch of gold that I had

I just wanted to show my son that he can love his dad

Oh they hate me

How they hate me

They know that I am the reason they can never leave

This is velen where the bodies hang dead as the leaves

And the trees stand creaking loudly in the breeze

"oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck don't look"

What I said as we traveled on foot

And we made it just outside of no man's land

To a cliff with a beach clean water and the sand

Oh god, the beauty nearly did my heart in

We could see ships sailing the horizon

My son will not be bound

Tears pour from all our eyes

As we watch as a Griffin takes flight in the skies

And at that moment I felt so odd

Euphoria act as my one and only god

My son will not be bound

It was then that I heard that sound
