The Way She Does Things
One minute there
I've thrown my colors everywhere
Then the world was a mess
And the folks were upset
But she's steppin' without a grim
With her smile that never dimmed
Like the wind came with their scent
I've become a decent man
Still, God made me a scum
And I turned her smile to glum
Oh, mother, can't you see
You're not the only one that cried because of me
Though only being the former
I'm glad to have become part of her
Now the only thing remains
Is to please her with a dance
Watch when my fingers flick slowly
The Gods are getting angry
'Cause the only beauty is
To see the way she does things
One minute there
I've thrown my colors everywhere
Then the world was a mess
And the folks were upset
But she's steppin' without a grim
With her smile that never dimmed
Like the wind came with their scent
I've become a decent man
Still, God made me a scum
And I turned her smile to glum
Oh, mother, can't you see
You're not the only one that cried because of me
Though only being the former
I'm glad to have become part of her
Now the only thing remains
Is to please her with a dance
Watch when my fingers flick slowly
The Gods are getting angry
'Cause the only beauty is
To see the way she does things
