Wilbur Soot
In My Worn-Out Boots
[Verse 1]
I've got a nice denim jacket all adorned
With patches of places I've never been to
But nothing compares to the place I'm at now
Which gives my head a feeling of splitting in two

This place is homely, I happily appall
A place only seen in movies and TVs (In malls)
Bringing back memories I never recalled
A world of its own outside the urban sprawl

[Verse 2]
It's been an eternity since I saw Romania
Yet Cluj-Napoca feels new in my memories
A kindling fire, ablaze in my mind
I can see it, all burning
It's not a good ending

Fortunes aplenty never came to bе
When travelers sought to rush right past mе
From bus stops and train stations, I've seen more than few
I've walked around the world
In my old worn-out boots

[Verse 3]
If I stop walking who knows what I'll do
Maybe retire to a place I never knew
This place beyond people who value just you
I feel that this is the place I can plant my roots

It's been a long journey, a real long time coming
My denim jacket has become quite something
Lost in my own thoughts and lost in my own tracks
I'm not sure if I could ever go back
