Dylan Owen
Winter Snow
[Hook]
They say that things just cannot grow
Beneath the winter snow
Or so I have been told

[Verse 1: D.N.A.]
They say that things can't grow beneath the winter snow
But I've been under the weather and I never froze
My two lips stretched and a big smile arose
Going to be open and brief about it so no case closed
I was born on July twenty eighth
Was never a dare devil, but sure as hell not a saint
I've always been artistic but never able to paint
Until one day I brushed it off and now here I am today
Able to say that I can spit on a tape
Whether you like it or not I'm serving it on the plate
And you can keep the tips, cause I don't do it for the pay
D.N.A. is only three letters I deserve a bigger name
So I'ma keep rolling and growing like a snow ball
Make winter last cause I just came off a hard fall
Don't want to stall like the NHL brothers
But I don't want to rush time because their might be no other

[Hook]
They say that things just cannot grow
Beneath the winter snow
Or so I have been told
They say were buried far
Just like a distant star
I simply cannot hold

[Verse 2: D.N.A.]
I'm like an icicle, sharp yet delicate
Dripping with elegance, but can shatter in a minute
If someones full of crap tell them to quit laying in shit
Never been one to fight it out but not afraid to deliver hits
I admit I've been sick from this weather before
But than I spit, and when it rains pours
That's when I spend all of my time thinking the most, brain storm
That's why my musics different than yours, hate norm
But I don't try to be, it just comes naturally
Sweet and cold at the same time, strawberry daiquiri
Got Nico producing on the tracks like a factory
It's a blast for me, but y'all just might call it blasphemy
Still recording all my tracks on Audacity
Have you thinking I was in a studio making a salary
So before you go thinking things can't grow
Your mind span just did, because now you know, even thou

[Hook]
They say that things just cannot grow
Beneath the winter snow
Or so I have been told
They say were buried far
Just like a distant star
I simply cannot hold

[Verse 3: Dylan Owen]
Yeah well none of this can grow
Beneath the winter snow
Smothered by the distance and the bitter of the cold
Well I got bars for imprisoned souls
So take a look at all my scars
I'mma let em go
I feel the pumping in my heart
Like a baseline
I bet that you heard it before
Taking a minute of time
Nothing is perfect of course
And so I'm wrestling the impact like TNA
I know I have I though I can't see it like DNA
And we've been changing as the days go by
But I would never be the type of guy to change your mind
And I'll make history of your words if what you say don't rhyme
Cuz this is meant to get better, like age old wine
I wouldn't say so without a reason
I let it out
I hate the lonely of this snow season
Everyone I've been around
Has given me advice, that'll freeze before its cold
If things just cannot grow beneath the snow

[Hook]
They say that things just cannot grow
Beneath the winter snow
Or so I have been told
They say were buried far
Just like a distant star
I simply cannot hold
