I wanted to make a real sonic masterpiece
I was experimenting, playing the studio as an instrument
They started changing what I was hearing in my headphones
The vocals sounded different, the echo sounded different
Oh, wow, I can write to that
I wanted to create something where the sound was as important as the notes themselves
I'm probably the most proud of that album as a work of sonic art
