Writer’s Block
[Verse]
I got a bad case of writer's block
Nothing sounds right, everything I jot down ain't tight
But, I'm trying to write a song every night
To shed light on the fight
That my people go through and offer my insight
But, I'm so uninspired, I'm forcing my words
They so insincere, it's absurd, but I'm sure that if
1,000 people will hear this, 500 will feel this
Half of them is lying, so 250 is still with me at this point
Watch what I do, about 50 girls is only listening cuz' I'm cute
That leaves it at 2, double zero, that's the people
Who feel that I'm the truth like Pierce or Seagel
That's or Paul or Beanie, I know you see me
Cuz' I got a buzz like a girl that drunk 4 martinis
Now, eeny, meeny, miny, moe
200 fans left, but 1/4 fail to know that G-O-D drives me
Once they find that out, I'm at 150
To those who riding with me, when I'm gone don't forget me
Cuz' even if they hit me, the movement shall move on infinitely
So, wish me well admist the pain and stressing
I doubt that it will lessen, but life is about progression
I knew what I was doing soon as I started pursuing
I'm one wrong decision away from this being ruined
2 and 2 that's 4, 4 and 4 that's 8
8 and 8, that's what I'm great at
Give you 3 of them 16's, plus a hook you play that
I said 150 was left, I was mistaken tho
1/3 of them gon' stop liking me as soon as I start caking yo
Half of them gon' stop riding as soon as I hit the radio
Saying, "He done sold out, he ain't like he used to be"
How you know how it used to be?
I'll snap and hit yo' whole block up with prayers
Huh, Ya'll ain't used to me
50 fans left, 10 hate cuz' I'm red
10 don't like me, but won't say it
10 mad cuz' they girls like my dreads
20 left, 12 want me to marry em'
6 looking for a handout, they want me to carry em'
Never that, delete and bury them
That leaves it 2
One is me, and if you listening the other is you
That leaves it 2
One is me, and if you listening the other is you
That's all I need

[Speech Outro: Martin Luther King Jr.]
We've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now, because I've been to the mountaintop
And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land! And so I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man! Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!!
