What is Genius Japan?

Genius Japan (GJ) is a sub-community under Genius, a global digital music company headquartered in New York. GJ is an initiative where users work on localizing guides to Japanese and expand our J-Music database, ranging from Japanese lyrics, romanizations, and translations, aiming to be one of the biggest and most desired lyrics sites both in Japan and across the world

The project attempts to offer space for sharing Japanese music knowledge with people in the world and enjoy it togethеr. We are all music lovers, likе you, and we pursued and expressed our love of songs by transcribing and providing musical knowledge to our favourite artists and songs

As the sub-community of a site visited by 100 million people each month and more than 2 million users, Genius Japan vision to connect the local audience with the world and become a bridge between international fans and Japanese music, and learn the stories, meaning, and creative process behind songs

Genius user guides are available both in Japanese and English where you can find all the resources you need
