Meadows in Bloom
Now that the snow has melted
And the birds sing sweet
In a long dress, she runs through
Meadows in bloom
Where bees and butterflies dance through
The clover she falls into
Looking up to make out all shapes there in the sky
Wired for sound, the tears well in her eyes
Listening to the band that came through town
The band whose drummer partied well
Who made her laugh, but won't abide
Two pink lines
