Daily Life
[Verse 1]
Wake up in the morning feeling tired
Super drowsy, punch my pillow a few times
Go pick out some clothes and slip ‘em on
Trying really hard to find me some socks
No mismatched
Head upstairs all grumpy
Go to the bathroom do my business
Then wash my hands, wash my face with a splash of water
Wipe my face with the towel I shower with
Put on my contacts maybe redo
Go to the kitchen and grab a cup from the drawer
Get some water from the refrigerator
Go towards the boiling water and pour some into my cold water
Drink it slowly while looking at the scenery or possibly on the computer
Then gulp the last few drops and tell one of my parents I’m ready for school
Grab my backpack head to the garage into the car and wait
Then we drive out and soon enough we arrive at my high school
Get dropped off go walk through the open and most of the time cold campus
Walk into my classroom most of the time late but my teacher doesn’t care
Learn my Mandarin Chinese, then ignore a bunch of giddy and swag people
Striding across the courtyard and down the stairs and wait for one of my parents
Get picked up from then we go back home
Maybe do some homework and studying for my college class
Eat some breakfast, but really not enough time to do anything much less music
Then head back to the garage into the car and out we go again
Slowly riding while one of my parents driving
I look out at the world at the view of my side window
Just listening to music and getting into my zone while thinking about things
Arrive at Cascadia and head to whatever class I have that day
Get to class a little early turn on my phone and go on either Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram
Then head into class, sit down and chill down with some music
Then listen to the professor’s lecture which is most of the time interesting and relevant
Sometimes boring, get out of class usually on time sometimes early
Text my parents to pick me up and walk around the campus
Get to my waiting stop parents still not there
Still waiting and being a little impatient
Finally arrived, I get picked up and I’m excited as we drive home
If it’s a Thursday I would not be excited
Cause I only stay home for a little bit then go back to my high school for a three and a half hour SAT prep class
If not I go turn on the TV and Xbox 360 and play NBA 2K11 with my baby brother
Then after one full game I turn things off head upstairs for lunch
And then after the meal I go sit in my room doing nothing
I then could get music, play games, play cards or whatever
Later a bit I go on Skype and talk and play some games with my bros
Later a while I get called up for dinner
Sometimes I get called earlier to help out and cook
Then we start eating and after eating I go back to my room
Then later maybe do some chores or something
Then when I’m either just waiting or it gets late I do my homework and do studying
And then after that I say goodnight to my bros, sign out of Skype
After that I grab some clean smelling clothes and walk upstairs and take a nice long hot shower
Wipe myself with a towel when I’m done
Then take out my contacts and put on my thick framed glasses
Brush my teeth with Sonic Care and Colgate
Rinse my mouth with water and spit stuff out
Then wipe my mouth head downstairs while turning off all the lights
Cause usually I’m the last one still awake
Pull up my blankets and cuddle up maybe do some thinking
Sometimes I can sleep sometimes I can’t
Just kinda gazing off at the ceiling, that’s my thing
Then rest and have a super weird or scary dream that I’ll remember almost clearly the next morning
And then repeat
