Pollock is sleeping on a chaise longue in the dim, moonlit parlor. Cassius enters, wielding a long and narrow knife at his side. He lords over Pollock as he sleeps

[Cassius, reserved]
A little mouse creeps, as the mighty tomcat sleeps
He's been up for forty nights, he needs his forty winks
To think of all the mischief his teeth did sink—
I can nearly taste it
Some scars heal and practically fade away
While some reveal a past you can't escape
And others still are entirely fake—

Cassius carefully checks Pollock's scalp with his knife

[Cassius]
So, what's it going to be, my long lost brother—
Show your scars
Are you going to be my long lost brother
After all?
I don't really need a long lost brother tearing me apart

[Lyric Note]
Cassius discovers that Pollock has a scar identical to his own... but TOO identical! BOTH twins exhibit their scars on the RIGHT side of their heads

[Cassius, loudly]
Let's start knocking them nine lives off!
I know what you are, I know what you're doing
I know what this is—it's a bloodletting!

Pollock awakens to find Cassius above him, knife drawn; he quickly rolls out of harm's way and flees across the room. The hunt begins

[Cassius]
When the cat's away, it's said the mouse will play
Oh, but this little mouse was brainwashed to behave
Now, the cat's out of the bag and someone's got to pay
[calling out]
"Here, kitty, kitty!"
All my life I've been made to do what's right
Well, all my life is going to end tonight

I never really had a brother

Cassius leaps upon Pollock, a fierce struggle ensues
