dxvxdx: i’m totally fine, tyy! i’m so happy to do this: let’s start!

justloveJB: alright! first, what would you call a male ladybug?

dxvxdx: omg, i’ve never thought about it. being non-English i guess i would just say “male ladybug” (or cat noir, lol jk)

justloveJB: i think personally i’d probably say “gentlemanbug” lol
speaking of being non-English, what all languages do you speak? (obviously english and italian, i presume??)

dxvxdx: i love gentlemanbug! i will say it like that everytime from now! i obviously speak Italian (yk, i am italian lol) and English. i can also speak a little bit of Spanish but i’m still trying to improve!

justloveJB: nice! i know a bit of genеral/common spanish and french, as well as bits of japanesе, russian, and dutch! 😀

dxvxdx: oh my god! you speak lots of languages!

justloveJB: yeah i do know quite a few but i’m only fluent in english (is anyone ever really fluent in english?) haha
so what brought you to Genius? was it a specific song or person or event?

dxvxdx: one day i was listening to music with my brother and i saw him using Genius searching for lyrics and idk why but i created my account. at the very beginning i’ve done very bad annotations, Q&A’s and pyongs but then i started understanding the site and i just said: “yeah, this is my thing” hahaha

justloveJB: nice, nice. i don’t really know how i found genius, tbh haha
what’s your favorite transcription (or annotation if you prefer) you’ve ever done?

dxvxdx: mm, hard question. for the transcription i’ll say "il filo rosso" by Italian singer Alfa bc it reached 90K VIEWS and it is the most viewed song by the artist!! and for the annotations i just feel very happy when someone accept an annotation without editing it. it lets me know that the annotation is almost PERFECT and i always feel very proud.

sooo what’s your favorite release currently?

dxvxdx: talking about albums i have to say So Close To What by Tate McRae: every song on it is A BOP. and talking about songs, i just can’t get enough of “Anxiety” by Doechii. I LOVE IT!!

justloveJB: ooo “Anxiety” is really great! honestly, i can’t pick just one or two favorites haha
here’s a fun question from a songwriter: have you ever been on a song or written one, whether for yourself or others?

dxvxdx: no but i’d love to! sometimes i have great ideas but i just can’t put them together and it sounds so cringe 😭

justloveJB: that’s very understandable, i feel that all the time 😭
just cuz i’m curious, have you read any of my songs? (i wouldn’t be offended if you havent or if you didn’t like them lol)

dxvxdx: omg this is so crazy bc today i’ve put “read Delphinium’s songs” in my to-do list 😭. i haven’t read any of them yet but i’m gonna do it! i promise!

anyways, what are some things you enjoy doing in your spare time?

dxvxdx: mmm, i obviously listen to music A LOT but i dance too! i dance to hip-hop music and i’ve also won a prize for it 😎! i also like reading, especially thrillers, and of course hanging out with my friends!

justloveJB: ooo niceee!! sounds fun. back to the topic of Genius, what’s been your favorite memory on here?

dxvxdx: my favorite memory is probably when i’ve done a write-up for the best songs of 2024! i’ve loved doing it, writing it, receiving the proposal and also having the opportunity to read the other write-ups before their release lol. and also when i hit 10,000 IQ! that was a very big goal for me

justloveJB: 10,000 was a big goal for me, too and now i’m at 20,000 🥹
