The Thwarting of the Wise Bracket
Thwarting the wise bracket of his balm
For what is less than humdrum, trusting
The last recrudescences ,
Bleak in the resurrections
Of his bargaining
He is thrust
Into gladdening rooms
Out of forlorn spaces.
The old reminders
Do their work
Blinding his orts
In a weaker darkness
Beggaring
Dissection.
His apologia
For a fool’s errand
Is equal to the porings of the wise.
The hail-mothered
Underplayed
Come to their consolations,
It and he
Gathered on.
