There Is A Prince

There is a legend
Wandering through this land
And on demand, it seems
Mighty heroes
And mighty villains
Have finally
Shown at last

There is a town
That’s lonely within its core
And a prince
That accompanies its
Dust and bricks
I wouldn’t have anything more

There is a monster
Who’s very being is defiance
And a human
Who’s very soul
Has all control
But who am I?
Who am I to judge?

I am a prince
Who’s purpose is to serve
And to bend my own will
My own actions
And thoughts
And bend others too
But what if I wanted
To change the narrative?
Everyone is kind and
Everyone is good

But what if I wanted
To switch up the story?
What if I controlled
What actions I own?
