Muscle Twitch
A muscle twitched upon her cheek
Her eyes betrayed, the tenseness
A strand of hair, had fallen down
Lay waxed upon her forehead

She came from that city of Los Angeles
Where father held shares in the goverment
And she'd ride to the school
On a big black Cadillac
Yes and all of her class mates they did likewise

Hup

Now her clothes once clean
They were dirty now
No trace remained of beauty
Italian men, looked on with scorn
When they once would have been flirting

You can have me, if you want me
But you don't know what I've been through
I once had a, a brilliant future
[?And the job had but fallen through?]

Ah the sea looked bright
And it beckoned her
A to come and share the secret
A buzzard flew, in circles high
A bird of prey not paradise
And she came from that city of Los Angeles
Where father held shares in the goverment
And she'd ride to the school
On a big black Mercedes
Yes and all of her class mates they did likewise
They did the same thing
