Carnival - Audio Excerpt 3
My personal life, I just hang out by myself. I'm very... you know, I just crawl inside myself and have fun with the demons inside. I don't really... like I say, I don't... you know, my life is just the way it... it's more intense offstage, sometimes, than it is on. So I just... I don't really fit into life very well. So, it's like, I'm at war with the world.
I get around. I do what I want to do. I don't work. That's another part of society. What they want you to do is, from the time you get out of school, it's like, get a job, get a car, get an apartment. Buy this, buy that. And get yourself so far in debt that you can't ever get out. Dig yourself a hole, bury yourself. And that way we can dictate to you, because you can't do anything about it. "You've got so many bills, you can't go anywhere! Ha ha, we've got you now!"
And I didn't do that. Everything I've got fits in a suitcase. I can pick up and go. Somebody calls me and says "I need you here at 6 o'clock in the morning", if I want to be there, I'll be there. No bills, no ties, no job, nothing.
