Morning Coffee

Sometimes I feel sad in the morning
Drinking my coffee
Looking over the sea
While you're still fast asleep
In the moon

I wish I could be
What you want me to be
Yet I must be myself
I can be no one else

And by now you should know
That you reap what you sow
And I am still the same
As I was long ago

I thought
That's why you loved me
I thought
That you saw
What I will be or was

But time does what it does
So be glad
So why is the morning
Dark and sad ?
Today we'll be happy
Or at least we will try
Cause you know I still want you
Till the day that I die

And I hope that you need me
The way I need you
And tomorrow we'll do
All the things that wе do
