Everlasting Tree
There's an everlasting tree
Growing inside of me
And the Spirit has guaranteed
That before too long
The fruit will grow, oh, so sweet
If the roots go way down deep
And though the wind may blow
It'll grow up tall and strong
A single seed, a secret locked within
The Spirit flows and cracks the shell of sin
And now set free, like a fine perfume
A sweet aroma fills the room
As another tree of life
Comes bursting forth full bloom
There's an everlasting tree
Growing inside of me
And the Spirit has guaranteed
That before too long
The fruit will grow, oh, so sweet
If the roots go way down deep
And though the wind may blow
It'll grow up tall and strong
Sometimes thе growin'
Seems mighty slow
And my leaves dry up
When thе north wind blows
But the One who did the sowin'
Promised this one thing
As sure as there's a winter
There's a spring
There's an everlasting tree
Growing inside of me
And the Spirit has guaranteed
That before too long
The fruit will grow, oh, so sweet
If the roots go way down deep
And though the wind may blow
It'll grow up tall and strong
There's an everlasting tree
Growing inside of me
And the Spirit has guaranteed
That before too long
The fruit will grow, oh, so sweet
If the roots go way down deep
And though the wind may blow
It'll grow up tall and strong
There's an everlasting tree
Growing inside of me
And the Spirit has guaranteed
That before too long
The fruit will grow, oh, so sweet
If the roots go way down deep
And though the wind may blow
It'll grow up tall and strong...
