Car Seat Headrest
Teenage Night
The city is beautiful
But the people in it aren't
Can I last until December?
And what will happen then?
The city can be beautiful
But the people in it can't
Can I stand every day like this?
Alone with broken feet?
There are people on the street
Who'd like to turn you into meat
They stand up with their cigarettes
Then glare at you as you walk past
And though you try your best to speak
Nothing comes out but a squeak
And so you take another walk
To makе up for the fact that
You can talk
You can't talk
You can talk
You can talk
So we werе at Alex's, um, trying to play a game of murder in the dark where there's murderers and cops and the murderers are trying to kill the cops and the cops are trying to catch the murderers. I know you came there in the first place because, um, Mike, Brandon are going. I–I don't—I didn't really know any of the other guys that were... Mostly Mi–Mike's friends, I think. Um, so, I got there and these three or four guys are like twelve people who can't have got these guns. Ah—I mean like toy guns, but they shoot real bullets. Ah—I mean like, they're plastic pellets or whatever, but uh, it still hurt you if th—if you hit—if they hit you. Uh, apparently the game had at one point intended to be named—had intended to use the guns in the game but then everyone realized how horrible an idea that was so they abandoned the idea except some of them had apparently had, um, someone standing sorta–sort of, you know, hovering behind Brandon and Mike and, uh, these three or four other guys have got these guns on them, uh. So we started the first game, and it had seemed to be going fine. Oh, um, I need to explain that the way we chose the murderers and the cops were that we drew from the pack of just playing cards
