The Cats
Childrens Crusade
All the boys were idiots and the idiots all left their men
And the men stayed home, started making better plans
All the plans were innocent, where innocence was not required
The requirements word for faith but she needed not desired
And the daylight renegated glory
So the glory was no longer there
And the pilgrims lost all sense of hurry
For they new their answer wasn’t there
All the boys were wiser as they came back to what was their home
And the men were nowhere near rebuilding Rome
And the world around was dying slowly and the death came forth from the disease
Which had festered there for centuries under the needs
And the daylight renegated glory
So the glory was no longer there
And the pilgrims lost all sense of hurry
For they knew their answer wasn’t there
