Maybe Today Will Be Curious
Plastic flowers they don't die
Like the light in my reflection
Or the meaning of the wonder in your eyes
Once it was there
Then suddenly gone
Lost to the changing season
Something strange is open wide
And I see it through an afternoon
Of looking through the residues
Of other people's ends
Crouched at my feet
But far as the moon
A face like some turning pages
Always keeping faith
Always music fades
Always as if to say
Maybe today will be curious
In a spell of endless why
I can see that I'm repeating
All the habits that I should have put to rest
Visibly shook
And ailing with love
Shrouded by every corner
All the porcelain dolls are placed
In a manner that is ruthless
And obscures the very
Details that I'm trying to arrange
Lost in a haze of furious sun
And the ring of your mother laughing
Always music fades
Always as if to say
Maybe today will be curious
