The 77s
Stranger, Won’t You Change Your Sinful Ways? (Live at Cornerstone 2008)
[Spoken Intro: Unknown]
This next band put their first album out in 1984--actually, 1984 was the first time they were at Cornerstone, and out of all the bands who've ever been to Cornerstone, this band has been here the most. They’ve got a new record coming out; it's called "Holy Ghost Building." All the way from Sacramento, California, Cornerstone, can you make some noise? Give it up for the 77s!
[Verse 1]
There are two roads in this life
One is narrow, one is wide
And I know which one to take
If I'm to reach the other side
[Chorus]
I love the Lord
And he’s coming back one day
Stranger, won't you change your sinful ways?
[Verse 2]
Stranger, you can laugh
Stranger, for your scorn
But I bet you won't be laughing
On that resurrection morn'
[Chorus]
I love the Lord
And he's coming back one day
Stranger, won't you change your sinful ways?
[Verse 3]
You may call me simple
You may say that I'm a fool
But I know where I will be
When he's making up his jewels
[Chorus]
I love the Lord
And he’s coming back one day
Stranger, won’t you change your sinful ways?
[Guitar Solo]

[Spoken Outro: Mike Roe]
Thanks a lot. Yeah, we were here at the first Cornerstone, I think. Uh, I weighed about a hundred pounds less, and I used to do this epileptic seizure routine on the stage. Some of you older people might remember it. I don't need to do it now because it'll probably happen as a matter of course.
