Beans On Toast
Money Money Money
My clothes are made in sweatshops, so are both my shoes
Well the third world has a factory line for everything I use
And my job made me a slave each day for some old greedy man
Who probably wouldn't look at you if you tried to shake his hand
Well the landscape's full of logos that seep into our eyes
Well they brainwash every one of us and fuck with all our minds
Now the food we've eaten's rotten, and it's made from spastic cows
Wrapped in polystyrene, served up with a smile
But how much do your morals cost?
Are you getting rich or are you getting lost?
A corporate world is a greedy boss
Who takes your hand and then palms you off
Well McDonalds is a Nazi and all of us are Jews
We're dining in their restaurant and they're poisoning our food
Well money is a paedophile that preys on little kids
And puts adverts up all over town that promise happiness
Now I can't work out what's sexy, or if that's beautiful
But our bodies don't turn out like all the posters on the wall
And these corporations holding hands are stealing all our dough
And there's no-one left to take the blame, 'cause it's lost control
But much do your morals cost?
Are you getting rich or are you getting lost?
A corporate world is a greedy boss
Who takes your hand and then palms you off
But there's a social consciousness bubbling underneath
That wants to find a better way to deal with all this shit
When money's not the only thing to get you out of bed
And greedy men don't get to sit on top of pyramids
Well I'd call it a revolution but I'm scared of sounding gay
And maybe if we start right now it's not that far away
Oh but how much do your morals cost?
Are we getting rich or are we getting lost?
A corporate world is a greedy boss
Who takes your hand and then palms you off
