The Reign Of Kindo
Hard To Believe
Reach out my hand
For the shade on the window, I'm lying in bed
There's a house just next door
Covered in tears for the grey skies that pass overhead
But in this dark room I'm a prisoner of bed sheets and November gloom
Drag your feet, to the floor, with nothing to lose just keep asking for more

It's been ten long years of high hopes and long roads, when your dreams meet your fears
Now the soul I've acquainted, and frequently meet like a friend chatting up over afternoon tea, oh my god

Its hard to believe I'm still here
Stubborn in heart and so deaf in the ears
To the sound of the drum
To march as an ant til this heart comes undone
Oh and I, I can't look back
The past is a puzzle, there's pieces I lack
With no room for a doubt
To look for the pieces I can't live without

Well I know my days are all numbered
Like a train at a crossing that's passing me by
In each car, some filled to the brim while others are vacant, along for the ride
There's no need to feel sorry for me, these pities are means to a lonely disease
Drag your feet to the floor, trust becomes easy when you choose it before

Its hard to believe I'm still here
Stubborn in heart and so deaf in the ears
To the sound of the drum
To march as an ant til this heart comes undone
Oh and I, I can't look back
The past is a puzzle, there's pieces I lack
With no room for a doubt
To look for the pieces I can't live without
