Nintendo Announces Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance are getting a three-dimensional redesign. This pair of games were very popular and it added a lot of great features to the Pokemon series itself. The games are best known for their exotic look of Pokémon and the introduction of double battles. The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo announced today that Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will launch worldwide in November 2014, exclusively for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS. Pokémon fans will collect, battle, and trade Pokémon in a new adventure.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are a fresh take on Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, which launched in 2003 and were fan-favourite hits on the Game Boy Advance system. The new titles promise to take players through a dramatic story within a spectacular new world. With this remakes coming in the near-future, one must think about a lot of elements only found in the trio of Gen III of Pokémon games Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. Will the PokéNav get a revamping? The PokéNav would be a great device to be used on the 3DS, as its newer features this time would be endless. Maybe it will come along with new design such as the Pokédex does every Gen? What about the Secret Bases you could create around the Hoenn region? Will the Emerald-exclusive areas be available in these remakes?

More importantly, are these remakes? Nintendo says, “The new titles promise to take players through a dramatic story within a spectacular new world.”. How would that be possible to provide a “fresh take” if they are just remakes of the Gameboy Advance adventures? Are these games actually a sequel like Black and White 2? And what of the Pokémon Contest found in the Hoenn region? They were a grand addition to the Pokemon games. Will there be an upgrade from the Pokémon Super Contest in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum? How would Pokemon Amie come into play, and are the contests going to be in 3D?

All of these questions will be answered sooner then later with the pair of games coming to the 3DS in November of 2014 worldwide!
