Orbs
Sayer of the Law
Keep your tongue in your mouth
Though I know you've things to say, but if your words get out they will surely destroy
Miss are you spoken for? because I'd like to speak at you...
Hold on to your seats while I try to transcend (using only my stories) the lies of men
Keep your tongue in your mouth
Though I know you've things to say, but if your words get out they will surely destroy
Mr. dress suit hold your tongue, I have the speaking stick now!

I wandered off the path one day. Great watcher turned, and I ran away
I lost myself amongst some trees
Birds and lizards paid no mind to me
Sat atop the mushroom growths and drank the tea of forest folk
I did not mind, I sat alone until a hopping toad approached
He spoke of things you'd not believe
He whispered truths that tickled me
I lost myself in fairy tales though truth be told, these tales were real
The toad and I we shared a smoke and I lent my ears as for hours he spoke
He bestowed his knowledge upon me, the women he'd known, the places he'd seen...

(In the forest where I found god
I licked it's back and finally saw
The place where all the good ones go
Who births the rain, what births the snow?)
Everyone was tripping, the whole world was dancing and I thought, I thought
Maybe I was tripping for the animals were singing and I thought, I thought
"I know this song! I know this song!"
And it's finally making sense now...

I've found a way to transcend the lies of men
And man found a way to destroy everything worth loving

Keep your tongue in your mouth!
Is that too much to ask of you?

I sat for hours while he spoke and asked him why he 'came a toad
Said he'd always been this way, was not disguised just for today...

In the forest where I found god
I licked it's back and finally saw
So many colors I'd never seen
The here and now, the in between
He's not who I thought he was
But I like her much better as
It's not like I thought it was
But I feel that I fit these paws...
It's not like I thought it was
But I like it much better as
It's not like I thought it was
But I feel that I fit these paws
