Time That Never Ends
I've been hiding much too long
In the comfort of old memories
Lost behind the pictures
Of people I pretended to be
But the dust of my past has been scattered
By the wind of the Holiest One
The shadows have been lifted
Now I turn to face the Son
Years forever wasted
Became time that never ends
Years of empty vision
Became a blinding faith in Him
Years I took from my Father's Hand
The time I spent and lost
I traded for eternity
When I returned them to the cross
When I returned them to the cross
Now there's only the dim reflection
Of the loves I left behind
Even the brightest memory can't compare
With the peace I have in Christ
Oh, years forever wasted
Became time that never ends
Years of empty vision
Became a blinding faith in Him
Years I took from my Father's Hand
The time I spent and lost
I traded for eternity
When I returned them to the cross
We're born to a lifetime
Someday will be gone
But every day that we lay at His feet
Will go on and on
Oh, years I took from my Father's Hand
The time I spent and lost
I traded for eternity
When I returned them to the cross
Years forever wasted
Became time that never ends
Years of empty vision
Became a blinding faith in Him
Years I took from my Father's Hand
The time I spent and lost
I traded for eternity
When I returned them to the cross
