Without Scaffolding
Skyscraper-eyes looking back at you
Empty gapes of steel and glass fronting vast corridors
Rain licking its surface creates illusions of tears for these windows
Can you hear me scream from the inside?
I´m steel, I´m wood, I´m glass, all high and mighty but not stronger than my weakest link
When shadows creep closer, what we put a blind-eye to, suddenly re-appear. In loneliness we are all fragile, without scaffoldings holding us up, we all fall from grace. We all fall from grace without scaffoldings holding us up
Can you hear me scream? Can you see me reaching out to you?

I can stand tall in the storm, I can handle the wind breaking my bones but I can´t stand here alone
We, we all fall from grace, without scaffoldings holding us up, we all fall from grace
How long are we pretending that our empty houses are what we are longing for?
We are all safe as houses but utterly alone
