The Avengers: The Asgardian Brothers
[still under Loki's mind control, Selvig and Barton are working on the Tesseract in some remote laboratory]
Selvig: Where did you find all these people?

Clint Barton: S.H.I.E.L.D. has not shortage of enemies, Doctor. [he holds up a screen showing information in Iridium] Is this the stuff you need?

Selvig: Yeah, Iridium. It's found in meteorites, it forms anti-protons. It's very hard to get hold of.

Clint Barton: Specially if S.H.I.E.L.D. knows you need it.

Selvig: Well, I didn't know! [sees Loki coming ] The Tesseract is showing me so much. It's... it's more than knowledge, it's truth.

Loki: I know. What did it show you, Agent Barton?

Clint Barton: My next target.

Loki: Tell me what you need. [Barton gets his bow]

Clint Barton: I need a distraction. And an eyeball. [as they are waiting to locate Loki using satellite facial recognition]

Phil Coulson: I mean, if it's not too much trouble.

Steve Rogers: No, no. It's fine.

Phil Coulson: It's a vintage set. It took me a couple of years to collect them all. Near mint, slight foxing around the edges, but...

Agent Jasper Sitwell: We got a hit. Sixty seven percent match. Weight, cross match, seventy nine percent.
Phil Coulson: Location?

Agent Jasper Sitwell: Stuttgart, Germany. 28, Konigstrasse. He's not exactly hiding.

Nick Fury: Captain, you're up.

[after Loki and Barton break into the gala and steal some iridium, Loki then dons his gold armor and helmet and addresses at the frightened crowd]

Loki: Kneel before me. [the crowd ignores him and are running around] I said. Kneel! [everyone becomes quite and kneels before him] Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel.

[the crowd appears terrified by his ability to appear and disappear, but one old man refuses to kneel and rises]

German Old Man: Not to men like you.

Loki: There are no men like me.

German Old Man: There are always men like you.

Loki: Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example. [Loki is about to execute him with his scepter when Steve intervenes, in full Captain America uniform]

Steve Rogers: You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing.

Loki: The soldier. A man out of time.

Steve Rogers: I'm not the one who's out of time.
[suddenly Natasha appears in one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s aircrafts and points a machine gun towards him]
Natasha Romanoff: Loki, drop the weapon and stand down.

[Loki shoots a beam at Natasha, which she dodges with the aircraft. Loki attacks Steve and blasts him with his scepter and knocks him down]
Loki: Kneel!

Steve Rogers: Not today! [Steve flips and knocks him out with his leg]

Natasha Romanoff: [to herself as she's watching Steve and Loki fight from her aircraft] The guy's all over the place. [suddenly she hears Stark's voice]

Tony Stark: Agent Romanoff, did you miss me? [Tony Stark flies over in his Iron Man suit and blasts Loki right back] Make your move, Reindeer Games. [Loki puts up his hands and surrenders] Good move.

Steve Rogers: Mr. Stark.

Tony Stark: Captain. [Stark, Steve and Natasha are taking Loki, who's sitting subdued, back to the Helicarrier in the jet]

Steve Rogers: I don't like it.

Tony Stark: What? Rock of Ages giving up so easily?

Steve Rogers: I don't remember it being that easy. This guy packs a wallop.

Tony Stark: Still, you were pretty spry, for an older fellow. What's your thing? Pilates?

Steve Rogers: What?
Tony Stark: It's like calisthenics. You might have missed a couple things, you know, doing time as a Capsicle.

Steve Rogers: Fury didn't tell me he was calling you in.

Tony Stark: Yeah, there's a lot of things Fury doesn't tell you. [as thunder and lightning starts to shake the jet]

Natasha Romanoff: Where's this coming from? [Steve looks over at Loki who looks worried]

Steve Rogers: What's the matter? Scared of a little lightning?

Loki: I'm not overly fond of what follows. [suddenly Thor lands in the jet, smashes into the jet, smashes Ironman aside and steals Loki]

Tony Stark: Now there's that guy.

Natasha Romanoff: Another Asgardian?

Steve Rogers: Think the guy's a friendly?

Tony Stark: Doesn't matter. If he frees Loki or kills him, the Tesseract's lost. [Stark turns and gets ready to jump off the jet to chase after Thor]

Steve Rogers: You have a plan of attack?

Tony Stark: I have a plan: attack. [he flies out of the jet]

[Cap gets ready to follow]

Natasha Romanoff: I'd sit this one out, Cap.

Steve Rogers: I don't see how I can.

Natasha Romanoff: These guys come from legends, they're basically gods.

Steve Rogers: There's only one God, ma'am. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that. [Steve jumps out of the jet to follow Stark chase after Thor and Loki]

[Thor lands on the ground with Loki]
Thor: Where's the Tesseract?

Loki: I missed you too.

Thor: Do I look to be in a gaming mood?

Loki: Oh, you should thank me. With the Bifrost gone, how much dark energy did the All-Father have to muster to conjure you here? Your precious earth. [Thor drops his hammer and grabs hold of Loki]

Thor: I thought you dead.

Loki: Did you mourn?

Thor: We all did. Our father...

Loki: Your father. He did tell you my true parentage, did he not?

Thor: We were raised together. We played together, we fought together. Do you remember none of that?

Loki: I remember a shadow, living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss. I who was and should be king!

Thor: So you take the world I love as recompense for your imagined slights? No, the earth is under my protection, Loki.

[Loki laughs]
Loki: And you're doing a marvelous job with that. The humans slaughter each other in droves, while you ideally threat. I mean to rule them. That's why should I not...

Thor: Think yourself above them.

Loki: Well, yes.

Thor: Then you miss the truth of ruling, brother. A throne would suit you ill.

Loki: I've seen worlds you've never known about. I have grown, Odin's son, in my exile. I have seen the true power of the Tesseract. And when I wield it...

Thor: Who showed you this power? Who controls the would be king?

Loki: I am a king!

Thor: Not here! You give up the Tesseract! You give up this poisonous dream! You come home.

Loki: I don't have it. [angry at Loki's answer, Thor summons his hammer] You need the cube to bring me home, but I've sent it off, I know not where.

Thor: You listen well, brother- [suddenly Stark slams into Thor and takes him off leaving Loki standing alone]

Loki: I'm listening! [after Stark has taken Thor, they land in the middle of the woods]

Thor: Do not touch me again.

Tony Stark: Then don't take my stuff.

Thor: You have no idea what you're dealing with.

Tony Stark: [making fun of Thor] Uh... Shakespeare in the park? Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?

Thor: This is beyond you, metal man. Loki will face Asgardian justice.

Tony Stark: He gives up the cube and he's all yours. Until then, stay out of the way. Tourist! [suddenly Thor throws his hammer at Stark knocking him down and they start fighting each other]

[Stark and Thor are battling it out in the woods when suddenly Steve interrupts them]

Steve Rogers: Hey! That's enough! [to Thor] Now, I don't know what you plan on doing here.

Thor: I've come here to put and end to Loki's schemes!

Steve Rogers: Then prove it. Put that hammer down.

Tony Stark: Uh... yep! No! Bad call! He loves his hammer!

[suddenly Thor hits Stark aside with his hammer, knocking him out]

Thor: You want me to put the hammer down?

[Thor tries to strike Steve with his hammer but Steve uses his shield to protect himself and Thor gets knocked down; finally Stark, Steve and Thor pick themselves up of the ground and face each other]

Steve Rogers: Are we done here?
