A Secret

I`ll be aware as I speak

To keep that secret at its peak,

A confidence if I should break

Could just haunt me

Then be a huge mistake,

I`ll keep it locked within my soul

So no-one will ever know,

A secret told would be no more

I may lose a friend

If she closed her door,

'Hush' is the word I must now live by

Or my friend may say 'good-bye'.
