Tough Love

He`s not for you, don`t toy with him

He will only ever be your friend,

Even if you try to entice

For many hours on end.

His heart`s entwined with another

She only glanced his way,

Instantly he was smitten

There`s nothing you can say.

You can`t work your wiles on him

Forever you will leave him cold,

He will smile, pass on by

Your heart he`ll never hold.

When you find your own true love

He`ll treasure you above all,

Till then, move on, be happy

Don`t cry, be strong, walk tall.
