Eminem
EMINEM: THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME
Eminem is unquestionably an impressive rapper, a multitalented artist, and a creative rap lyricist. He came into the limelight in the 90s, and fans were completely blown away by his rapping skills that led to his instant success. Love or loathe him, his unmatched lyrical, rhyming skills, and his pain in his rap make his music so relatable, heart touching, and successful. I'll tell you why we all love Eminem.

Incredible rap skills
Eminem is one of the talented and versatile rappers to ever emerge out of the hip-hop scene. One cannot deny how critically acclaimed he is as a rapper. His energy is evident in his songs, his flow is incredible, and there is no doubt that he can be fast sometimes. His fast rapping speed was first revealed in his single Rap God, which he released in 2013. In this song, he delivers a whooping 101 words in only 16.45seconds halfway through the music.

He would later top that in the final verse of his recent release in 2020 titled Godzilla. It is not only about rap that makes Eminem the greatest; his lyrics are amazing. He talks about his pain, sorrow, controversial topics and tells stories in metaphors and imagery, which is why many call him a poet.

He is a universal artist; therefore, his lyrics translations are far and much wide available.

He is outspoken
Eminem is not new to rapping a controversial topic or two in his songs, showing how outspoken he is. His lyrics have often caused people to accuse him of being violent, homophobic, and misogynistic. People don't understand that these are just lyrics, and in most of the songs he has rapped about violence, it is usually fictional.

But what makes him so raw and lovable is that he does not care what others say as long as he expresses himself. Eminem has also been open about his political views. He notably expressed his dislike of the former US President Donald Trump in his freestyle The Storm at the BET Hip hop awards.

He is inspiring
Eminem raps about how he has overcome his struggles. He has not had it all smooth in many years as he experienced a difficult upbringing. His father left after his mom bore her, and they had to constantly move houses and eventually settled in one poor neighborhood of Detroit. He was a victim of bullying in his school, and one encounter left him in a coma at the age of nine.

After releasing his fifth studio album, Encore, in 2004, Eminem went through a hard time batting drug addiction through a series of personal struggles. He remarried his ex-wife Kimberly Scott in 2006, only to divorce months later. In April the same year, his best friend was shot and died. He also experienced writers' block and struggled to create fresh ideas for his music, and in late 2007, his addiction culminated in a near-fatal overdose.

However, he has survived all through that and came back stronger. 2021 marks Eminem’s 13th year of sobriety from alcohol and drugs, and he is experiencing a successful music career following his struggles.

THE LAST WORD
Besides his rap skills, Eminem loves his daughters and is charitable, making him the greatest rapper of all time.
