Unseen Servant
Early in the morning
She rises from her bed
Like so many times before
There is one place she is lead
She's a mama and a grandma
With a family needing prayer
As she falls down on her knees
She knows God is waiting there
She's that servant we may never see
On her knees before the Lord
Praying faithfully
Crying out to Jesus for her family
She's that servant we may never see
The old man was weary
As he put his broom away
The church was clean and ready
For another meeting day
And you wondered if his efforts
Were ever seen by anyone
But up in heaven, God would smile
He'd seen the work he'd done
He's that servant we may never see
Doing all he can to serve
His Master faithfully
Only God knows how much he's done
For eternity
He's that servant we may never see
On a lonely hillside
A place called Calvary
God's chosen Servant took His place
Between two thieves
As a sacrifice to God
He gave His life so willingly
An example for the world away
A Servant's life should be
He's that Servant this world cannot see
From a baby in a stable Jesus
Reigns as King of Kings
He obeyed His Father's will
As He yielded faithfully
He's that Servant this world cannot see
Yes, He's that Servant someday we shall see
