The Book
So, on the judgement day
When He takes a look
Be sure He finds you in the Book

There is a Book, it's the Book of Life
It has the names of the ones
Who are bought by the blood of Christ
This precious Book, it never fades
And every page tells the story
Of those who have been saved

I'm glad my name is written there
I remember the day I knelt in prayer
God took a pen and He wrote it down
Among the saints once lost but found
So, on the judgement day
When He takes a look
Be sure He finds you in the Book

There is a Book, it's the book of life
It has the names of the ones
Who are bought by the blood of Christ
And in this Book, there's room for more
For those who'll answer the call
When He knocks on your heart's door
I'm glad my name is written there
I remember the day I knelt in prayer
God took a pen and He wrote it down
Among the saints once lost but found
On the judgement day
When He takes a look
Be sure He finds you in the Book

There in the Book

It's there to stay
And it makes me shout
It's there to stay
And it makes me shout
It's there to stay
And it makes me shout
Engraved by a loving nail-scarred hand
And it can't be blotted out

I'm glad my name is written there
I remember the day I knelt in prayer
God took a pen and He wrote it down
Among the saints once lost but found
So, on the judgement day
When He takes a look
Be sure He finds you in the Book
There is a Book, it's the book of life
It has the names of the ones
Who are bought by the blood of Christ
