Karen Peck & New River
Light in the Window
The tree is neatly trimmed and shining
And every decoration is in place
Stockings are hung while children dream of
Just a peak at Santa Clause's face
But still tonight, I can't help but wonder
If up above, the Lord sheds a tear
And wonders to Himself here on His birthday
Will they forget me yet another year
No, not this year
So, let's put a light in the window
For the light of the world
To shine so bright
That all the world will see
That there is hope for a nation that still believes
That the greatest gift is still the King of Kings
May we all find peace and happiness
Love and good cheer
But let us really know
What Christmas means this year
May we all find peace and happiness
Love and good cheer
But let us really know
What Christmas means this year
So, let's put a light in the window
For the light of the world
To shine so bright that all the world will see
That there is hope for a nation that still believes
That the greatest gift is still The King of Kings
May we all find peace and happiness
Love and good cheer
But let us really know
What Christmas means this year
May we all find peace and happiness
Love and good cheer
But let us really know
What Christmas means this year, oh...
Let us really know
What Christmas means this year
