Weekend In Texas

I'll take the early plane get there by noon

Ain't figured it all out I'm fixin' to

I got everything I need

So I'll Tennessee myself right out the door

And spend the weekend in Texas

With all the playboys and Bob Wills on the dance floor

Tequila for breakfast

Leave all my cares behind

The trailer's ready to travel

I've got the hat and the cattle to back it up

Everything will be great

In my favorite state of mind

Mm-hmm

Been trying to make it work for way too long

There's nothing here to keep me hanging on

I said adiós to his ego

'Cause he ain't my amigo anymore

I need a weekend in Texas

With all the playboys and Bob Wills on the dancefloor

Modelo for breakfast

Leave all my cares behind

The trailer's ready to travel

I've got the hat and the cattle to back it up

Everything will be great

In my favorite state of mind

I'll spend the weekend in Texas

And maybe the rest of my life
