[Intro]
Welcome to Grade 10 young man, what's your name?
[Hook]
Nathan
This is the story of Nathan
A tenth grader with pigmentation on his skin
Who was treated like an alien, an outcast
He only had a couple of friends
The rest picked on him, they threw sticks at him
They called him "freak show" pushed him and spit at him
And online every day another sick status
Was posted so they could make him feel embarrassed
[Verse 1]
He wished he would perish, just to escape the pain
Like a stray dog, he was livin' day to day
And the pain, was so great, when he tried to explain
To his teacher the problem, she shooed him away
When she was around, the bullies went and changed their faces
And stated that Nathan's statements were outrageous ("Liar!")
He was fakin', they claimed, just to gain attention
So Nathan would then just up in detention
For lyin', when really he was tellin' the truth
He was dyin' inside, and didn't know what to do
Like he was stuck in a slew covered from hat to shoe
They kept pushin' a person who had nothin' to lose

[Verse 2]
Sick of the savagery, the hounding and badgering
He started a plan bound to stop it from happening
He remembered his dad had some guns in the cabinet
That were locked up, so Nathan needed a strategy
And his way to obtain keys was watchin' his dad
He spied on him and watched him slide them under the mat
The first part of this plan was right about to develop
The second thoughts calmed him down, he started to mellow
Until the next day when they smeared his hair with relish
And laughed at him, his face went cold and hellish
They'd never seen him react calm, he usually leaves
But this time was very eerie and immediately
He went as white as a ghost and started glarin' them off
The lunchroom became scary, somethin' was very wrong
They started backin' away he had finally snapped
The look in his eyes was that of a revengeful attack

[Verse 3]
Lunch passed, but Nate never went back to class
He skipped math, and went home to hatch his plan
He grabbed keys from the mat, he could hear them rattlin'
As his hands shook, he stuck the key in the cabinet
Then he opened the door, now it was time to man up
He grabbed his father's large, magnum, handgun
It was heavy, so he slid it into his knapsack
He'd soon have the last laugh, he started his trek back
What happened next was nothin' short of a miracle
It started to rain, the scene was metaphorical
Call it fate, but a cop spotted him while walkin'
And stopped him to offer the option to hop in, out of the rain
Somethin' within told him to get in, so he did
And spoke about the harassment
Nathan had prompted an investigation
That led to his tormentors' incarceration
