Week 10: Lions Defeat Dolphins in Thriller
This Week 10 game took place at Ford Field in Detroit. The Dolphins entered the game at 5-3 fresh off of a 37-0 drubbing of San Diego. Detroit entered at 6-2 after a bye.

The Lions scored 1st on a 26 yard Matt Prater field goal to go up 3-0 at 6:19 in the 1st quarter. Later that quarter, Matthew Stafford hooked up with Calvin Johnson for a 49 yard touchdown pass to put Detroit up 10-0 after 1 quarter.

The 2nd quarter lacked scoring, but Caleb Sturgis of Miami kicked a field goal with only 13 second remaining before the half to make the score 10-3 Lions at halftime.

Halfway through the 3rd quarter, Sturgis connected from 50 out, and Miami would take the lead later that quarter when Mike Wallace caught a 3 yard TD pass from Ryan Tannehill. The score was 13-10 Dolphins after 3.

3 minutes into the final quarter, Prater kicked a 50 yard field goal to tie the score at 13. But with only 4:19 left, Sturgis answered back on a 20 yarder to give the Dolphins a 16-13 lead

HOWEVER, WITH ONLY 29 SECONDS REMAINING, STAFFORD FOUND THEO RIDDICK FROM 11 YARDS OUT TO PUT DETROIT UP 20-16. The Lions would hold on to win by that score. Detroit improves to 7-2 while the Dolphins fall to 5-4.
