Eraser Dust
Waking up with that feeling
That sometimes life is less than appealing
Forming webbing of maybe its ending
Inside you restating no use evading

One week slump lumber
Brain it's his fault
Snap back you're staring
Emotionally burying

Just tell her that you need her
Try not to deceive her
See if it just heals with time
If time won't show its face
What's left are merely traces
Eraser dust and opaque lines

Cleaning the house in a dust storm
It tarnished the varnish corroded the household
It's churning up, it's journey stops
As you notice her face doesn't know this
Nothing like a teary eyed session
Heartfelt despondent glum acts of confession

Tell her that you need her
Try not to deceive her
See if it just heals with time
If time won't show its face
What's left are merely traces
Eraser dust and opaque lines
It's sad but its a given
Nothing is forgiven
For grieving there's no
Set amount of time

But once you truly mend this
Man it feels tremendous
Regret is useless fuel
Sometimes
