Insomnia
I got up around a quarter to two
Stared  at the ceiling with nothing to do
Went  in the kitchen and made me some eggs
Bent down to scratch an itch on my leg

Insomnia is keeping me up for the sunrise
Insomnia,  oh, it's keeping me up for the sunrise

When  I sleep ’til the afternoon
And I don't feel like I'm missing anything
When  I sleep ’til the afternoon
And I don't feel like I'm missing anything

I tried some pills, I tried to meditate
I even read some books on tape
I  don't know what's going on with my head
Oh well, I guess I'll sleep when I'm dead

Insomnia, oh, it's keeping me up for the sunrise
Insomnia, oh, it’s keeping me up for the sunrise
Hey, hey

When I sleep ’til the afternoon
And I don't feel like I’m missing anything
When I sleep 'til the afternoon
And I don't feel like I'm missing anything
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Insomnia, well, it’s keeping me up for the sunrise
Insomnia, well, it's keeping me up for the sunrise
Insomnia, yeah, it's keeping me up for the sunrise
Insomnia, yeah, it's keeping me up for the sunrise
Insomnia, oh, it's keeping me up for the sunrise
Insomnia, yeah, it's keeping me up for the sunrise
