Tell the World
Truth isn't truth because the media tells us
It's time we stop buying the lies that the left always sells us
I'm sick of seeing the Church downtalked and God's presence denied
Those who stand against the King will be lowered to peasants in time
Professors who trash my Savior are no friends of mine
Buckle up because I have a lot on my mind
I'm sick of ABC, CBS, and NBC
You become a left-wing entity, you were never meant to be
You tell us how to think rather than give us the news
You tell us who to vote for, but it's our right to choose
The media tells us Islam is peaceful and Christians are evil
Don't talk about my people when you've never been under our steeples
Don't mock my Jesus when you don't know what He went through
Don't tell me about white privilege when you don't know a thing I been through
You keep tryna divide us
You wanna own us, but you can't buy us
My generation sees right through your bias
And if you think we'll back down to your agenda, just try us
Black lives matter aren't the only people capable of riots
And we don't believe all cops are bad and all blacks are criminals
The amount of truth you present us is minimal
And minimal describes your TV viewers
Our peers don't watch your reports when we have websites with truthers
So, you can keep your hopes of leading us and flush it down the sewers
We see right past your maneuvers of manure
We want more, and we're sick of being lied to
We don't want a political party we have to be tied to
We want something more, and something more is Jesus
You can mock us, but you'll never lead us
And you'll never be us
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
We shout it 'til the day we die
You can take our lives, but you'll never take our pride
We don't serve Muhammad, our God is alive
He overcame a cross, a crown of thorns, and a spear in His side
He is the Light of the world
He is the King of Kings
He is on His throne, and the angels sing
He owns the gates to Heaven and holds the keys to Hell
He took the blind and made them see to tell
And I hope you can tell that I can see
Right through the clutter because it's God in me
He takes the poor out of poverty
He takes the rich, and they bow at His feet
The ones with a hole, nailed to a cross for me
And for you and for blacks and for whites
I'm not a born member in His world, but He gave me heavenly civilian rights
He adopted me and saved me
I'm a free man, and this society can't tame me
I'm not the old me, I'm not the same me
I'm forgiven, and the Devil can't shame me
My past is erased, and my mistakes are gone
I'm full speed, all gas with no brakes in the lane that I'm on
I have a world to tell
I have people to reach
I have an obligation to this generation to stand and preach
So, give me a mic and hand me a Bible
We're on a mission to stir-up a revival
This Gospel is enough
In God I trust
And I won't use your excuses as a weak man's crutch
It's a race, and I'm running full speed
On a mission to tell the world what God told me
Jesus is coming back
Not opinion, it's fact
I feel like for the first time in my life that I'm up to bat
I'm no Ken Griffey, but I know it's God who's with me
And you can laugh all you want
I didn't step to the plate to duck it and bunt
I'm swinging for the fences
I'm fighting in the trenches
It's Jesus 'til I die for the rest of my life
This is no longer my life
It's just not mine
I'm gonna tell the world before I run out of time
