Battle Cry
You're so blind to D-E-V-I-L
You wouldn't recognize Satan if you were standing in Hell, E-V-I-L
I wordplay so well poetically
I killed off the old me, the dead, the pathetic me
I love it, he's dead to me
You can make a mannequin of me, but still no one is ahead of me
Sorry, that was the poetic me
Then again, no apologies
You trust in pharmacies, I trust in prophecies
There's a God, there's a boss in me
And it might end up costing me
But to die is to gain
Hеaven, if you're saved, morе fame either way
Takes going to the grave to get people's praise
Everything is backwards these days
People blind to Lucifer, even when he's on full display
So many fooled these days
Welcome to the great falling away
Please, God, let me fall into Your grace
I'm not a soothsayer but wanna know that I'm saved
That my future's in Heaven when my life goes away
You think about your 401K
I think about knockin' on Heaven's door someday
Retirement is what keeps you awake when you're trying to sleep
I'm a fireman, you're asleep, so I shake the flame on your sheets
House is on fire, "Sir, follow me"
Whole lotta flaws, but I promise you solemnly
That the Spirit of God lives inside of me
And He's the one guiding me
I see murder, I see fighting, and rioting
I see people inciting it excitedly
I see God telling His people to abide in Me
I see angels on the rise, I see the King, He's alive
I see Him coming back like a thief in the night
I see witches, I see voodoo
I see the Devil, and now I see right through you
I see a great awakening
I see cities, they're shaking
I see an army of God kneeling, they're praying
I see black magic, black omens
I see the King on His throne and angels, they're bowing
I see fists, and they're pounding
I see kids, and they're drowning
But I see revival, the Devil is hounding
I hear a battle cry, it's sounding
I hear drums being beaten for battle
I hear cheers and watch the King take the saddle
I hear trumpets blow in the night
I hear God blow open the night
I hear God telling His people "Trust me, it's gonna be alright"
