It was everything I called true
And we -like actors who never knew:

That line blurred too much for us;
We thought the stage was all there was
When the floor cracked under weight we tossed
We fell through as the farce was lost

And though a book (or album) may close it's hope: to grow, to refigure that beyond it's hem
