If they ever passed the law in some of these states where some these people been arrested for weed or currently in jail for weed, i think they should be given clemency. Especially since it’s legal now. That would be dope. That would take a lot of shit off of my record. Real Talk. Doc? I don’t even know if I answered the question but it is what it is.

What I could tell you is, just of our culture period, corporations are now finding a way to corporate this marijuana movement we have. They try to eliminate the guys who grow and sell weed. There’s a bigger picture going on. A person of our descent, you definitely have to get your game right, your paperwork right, and know what the fuck you doing because they will box you out. For example, I was on the plane with this white lady...and she didn’t know me and I didn’t know her. Well I asked her what she do, she said “I’m on my way to handle a meeting with some big corporations. I set up meetings for them to make investments”. So she asked me what do I do, I said, “I’m a rapper and I deal with the marijuana game.” She said, “speaking of, i’m going to talk to this corporation, Walmart or something like that.” She’s going to negotiate for Walmart or RiteAid to go buy half of North Carolina land to start growing. She’s working 15-20 years ahead. While our descent, we’re just trying to grow and make a little money. If you’re thinking that you’re just coming into this business, thinking that you’re going to grow a little weed and make some money, it’s not going to happen. There’s a way bigger picture going on right now and you need to have your paperwork right, you need to study your laws and be up on the laws. The laws change each and every week.

Exactly. It’s new prohibition. If the feds can’t put their fingers on it, and say “we control this shit”. Then y’all got to pay the taxes on this shit like they have in Colorado. Even though Colorado is #1. They legalized the medical and recreational. They hit them motherfuckers with taxes out the motherfucker.

[Well that’s the thing, why do you think they changed it? Because at one point, the government was for marijuana and passing bills in different states such as, California and Connecticut, then they stopped it completely.]

Well there’s a new regime in the office and new laws. They have their own agenda and each person has an agenda bending rules for the other person, so they can give them what they want. In the midst of all that, marijuana laws are going to suffer. There’s still going to be growers and there’s still going to be dispensaries, whether legal or illegal

[Do you think they are going to regulate it more like pills you can get at a pharmacy versus alcohol? Is it going to be regulated like how alcohol is regulated or more like pharmaceutical companies?]

When you are dealing with pharmaceuticals, they deal in their own lane. This is what this whole government is ran on.

It’s funny how people use the word regulate with pills and things such as that. When we have athletes that get hurt and they prescribe them painkillers and grab them more pain killers until they’re heroin addicts and shit. What kind of regulating is that? How you going to tell someone’s son they have gynecomastia? Which is man boobs because you prescribed a fucking drug for him because he was too hyperactive. How do you regulate shit like that? Because if you look at marijuana, how many weed overdoses do you have? Although those edibles be too far out, I don’t fuck with edibles!

You still can’t overdose on them though.

I had the drawers off in the hotel lobby on an edible one time. In my drawers. Crying. Laughing. At the same time. I never fuck with those again.
