Don’t get it twisted, get your your mind out the gutter
See the come up’s nothing dirty
It’s an intro for my come up
I’ll revise when I’m thirty
I survived being thirsty
Being wise comes with learning in a series of hurting

Mine came with drastic lessons then soul searching
Got a mind to remind my drive of my purpose
Times like these don’t come with ease
Times like these make you wanna drop and leave

See the come up’s when you living by the ocean
Pay your own f***ing rent, light bills ain’t joking
But the struggles kinda fair, no time for emotion
It’s a learning curve, some new school some new school so I’m focused

Dreams over dreams getting real this side
If I don’t ever wake up rather leave me to die

But these predators ain’t appeased with the cheese so they want beef
Expenditures on their cars but a worker cannot eat - for a month
Not even worried bout where a worker should sleep

Luxurious day dreams
While you help ‘em create a dream
Outta snippets from your dream
Till you wake up from that dream - and you fall hard
Then oath that you’re never falling asleep
In the these hours of eight can’t afford to never concentrate

See the lesson’s kinda stressing at the peak of it’s expression
Second guessing your profession, you could leave at any second
What’s depressing is a blessing at the end of it’s conception
It’s refreshing when they sweating from their faces cause they thought you wouldn’t make it
