Dialogue 1 - Live
So how you doing tonight Charlotte?
Well you look good
It is a little dark
I tell that stupid joke every night
Nobody ever laughs (laughs)
So, this next song is called Love at the End, and people ask me what's it about and I usually tell them it's about "love at the end"
But the truth is, I've done a lot of thinking the past few years about what makes a person successful, what makes a person whole
I guess I was doing an interview the other day, and the person asked me what is onе of your biggest accomplishments, and I was like "I don't know, I don't think of what I do in tеrms of eccomplishments..."eccomplishments" I guess that's like for the internet. But in terms of accomplishments, uh-complishments, I thought the thing that brings me the most satisfaction is sitting on the porch with people I love talking about Jesus. You know, and somedays I'll think "what is an accomplishment?" like i'll build a big organization and a lot of people will know my name, it's like in the end none of that stuff feels as good as sitting across the table from somebody, telling a story, laughing a little, crying a little, raising a glass and hearing that little "tingggg". I've decided that all of life is inside that sound..."Pinggggg". Fellowship and love and laughter and all the things we live FOR, and are alive FOR, and were saved FOR, and were healed FOR, includes sitting at that table and looking at a person and going "Pinggg" and you know you can hear Jesus in that little "pingggggg" So that's pretty much what "Love at the End" is about. Do me a favor, as we start the song, raise your glass with me, as we get the celebrate the goodness of God tonight. Look at me and let's just sit across the table and just go "Pingggggg"
