T.I.
Poetry
[Intro: Interviewer & T.I.]
When in the country, T.I.'s lookin' forward to
Listenin' to what South Africans musicians have to offer
You worked with some of the biggest names in the business
What do you look for in that artist?
Individuality
I look for them to be themselves

[Chorus]
To pay the price of life, tryna get what I think is owed to me
For that price there are no receipts
But I do so, so boderly
The story of how I came up and what I grow to be, is poetry
Yeah
I pray we don't go stackin' up on anymore condolences
Pray for all the souls at seas
Shadin' on the stolen trees
Everybody showin' cheese
And we all rockin' gold, it's hard to tell who got the golden key
I hope that they know it's me

[Verse]
Ain't no holdin' me back, ain't no holdin' me down
Ain't nothin' else to do but to knee since they stomped my feet now
To all my dawgs that came from nothin, up here livin' sweet now
Let that be wild, we never have to close our eyes to see God
Kiss your mom and thank God
Say my momma "You okay now"
RIP to Ivy, I'ma rep like it's my day job
Somehow you taught me not to keep my face down
Cryin' about what I ain't got and look at what I done made now
Yeah
[Chorus]
To pay the price of life, tryna get what I think is owed to me
For that price there are no receipts
But I do so, so boderly
The tale of how I came up and what I grow to be, is poetry
Ooh, ooh-ooh
I pray we don't go stackin' up on anymore condolences
Pray for all the souls in seas
Shadin' on the stolen trees
Everybody showin' cheese
And we all rockin' gold, it's hard to tell who got the golden key
I hope that they know it's me
